Onyx forms over thousands of years from underground mineral-rich water, creating layered swirls and bands in vibrant colours. Using diamond-tipped blades, large blocks of onyx are sliced into slabs, shaped and polished by hand. In lamps, light is placed inside to bring out the stone’s soft, warm glow.
